He was the only child of his parents, so everyone loved him very much.
From a very young age, his actions showed that he was not an ordinary child. His parents soon felt he was a gift from God, so they never scolded or hurt him.
People in the village also came to know about this special child.
He was always kind and helpful. He helped poor and needy people in every way he could. These good habits remained with him throughout his life.
During school years, he did very well in studies, sports, and other activities. Whatever he did, he did with full focus and confidence.
At the age of only eight, he started driving a tractor in his father’s fields.
During years of his education, His Holiness performed excellently in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. He also did whatever he did with great dedication and confidence. At just seven years of age, Revered Pitaji started driving a tractor in his father’s agricultural fields. Saint MSG Ji Insan passed High School in his native village school. During high school, he studied Non-Medical Studies. He was a very intelligent student in his class. He always stayed ahead in his studies as well as in games. He played all the traditional sports Kabaddi, Rasa Kashi, and other Modern sports Volleyball, badminton, and lawn tennis. Cricket was his favourite game, and he also served as captain of the team. Because of his great leadership, the team had been always playing with enormous enthusiasm and confidence in every competition. He was always on the top of the list in every competition, whether it is study, games, or other cultural events.
At the age of seven, he received Naam (the method of meditation) from Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. This was how the next Master Saint in the line was found.
He also encouraged his friends to follow the righteous path.
On 23 September 1990 Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj called followers from across the country and held a big Satsang. There, he declared Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan as his successor.
In this ceremony, Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj passed on full spiritual powers and gave him the responsibility of the Dera.
This day is an important date in the history of Dera Sacha Sauda and for all humanity. On this day, Revered Pitaji left his family at the young age of 23 to serve the world.
From then on, he worked day and night to spread the divine message everywhere.
Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan build many deras across states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Chandigarh and also in other countries.
He lives a strict and disciplined life and works very hard out of love for humanity.
He has written many hymns and books.
He has started 170 social welfare activities for the good of nature and people.
